WAGUZARI

The act of regaining something lost

Project Overview

Grieving a major loss isn't a linear path, but a rollercoaster of emotions, as psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross's five stages illustrate. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and eventually, acceptance mark the journey, though individuals navigate them differently. Inspired by the Urdu term "Waguzari," meaning reclaiming something lost, this project delves into these stages, offering a hopeful message: healing is possible, and even amidst grief, growth can emerge. It's a tribute to those navigating their own emotional journeys, reminding them that even in the darkest times, the potential for reclaiming something lost remains.
