Project Overview
In "Panchakanya," five legendary Hindu heroines - Shakuntala, Draupadi, Sulabha, Mandodari, and Sita - receives a modern reinterpretation that celebrates their unique strengths and challenges societal norms. Each character have been shown embodying an element (Wind, Fire, Space, Water, Earth) and color (White, Red, Black, Blue, Green), expressed through sarees and themes, reimagining them as symbols of independence, fearlessness, wisdom, free spirit, profoundness respectively. This project seamlessly blends tradition, mythology, and contemporary empowerment, breathing new life into these timeless tales through fashion and highlighting their enduring relevance for today's world.
